Laser Technology  

Attodyne has developed advanced solid state diode pumped laser technology, which enables compact and robust, turn-key picosecond lasers with high power and pulse energy. Using a combination of fiber lasers and solid state multi-pass laser amplifiers, these systems were designed to suite a wide array of high intensity laser applications. The Attodyne laser systems are smaller and more reliable than other picosecond laser products. Applications Laboratory: Picosecond lasers offer a solution to the increasing complexity of materials and demand for precise cutting with no damage in modern semiconductor and solar panel fabrication. However, existing ultrafast lasers are not readily incorporated into demanding manufacturing environments due to poor stability, large size and high cost. Attodyne’s applications laboratory demonstrates how our laser platform enables customized reliable solutions for material processing applications such as repair of thin film transistors (used in flat panel displays such as TVs and laptops), repair of printed circuit boards and masks (used for the production of microchips) and also dicing, scribing and interconnecting wafers (e.g. for microchip and solar panel manufacturing).
